How to Use Google Takeout as a Backup Option

Google Takeout makes it simple to download or move your data to another device. It’s the most straightforward approach to transfer your data from Google’s digital world to your own. Begin with something simple if this is your first time ordering takeout.

Effectively navigate to takeout.google.com, and select the “Deselect Option”. Via the Default process, Google Takeout selects all the possible data & different types of files, and then adds them to the Takeout archive.
Navigate down & choose the “Google Photos” check box.

Select the archive file’s file type and maximum size in File type & size.
Finally, choose “Create export“, and then wait as Google collects and archives the files according to your preferences.

Takeout sends you an email with a link to the archived files once it’s finished. Click Download Archive from that email to begin downloading it just like any other file. Your information is sent from Google’s servers to your Media library.
